Our Mission

To help teams prepare for Championships & Tournaments. We know there is a need to scrimmage other competitive teams as well as being able to play on a high-level turf and receive top level instruction. This is meant to prepare U14, U16 and U19 teams and is open to any and all teams and clubs.

Who we are

Joanie Q. Milhous

Joanie Milhous finished her 30th season as the head field hockey coach at Villanova University this past fall. The Cats went 10-7 this past season and had two players named to the Regional All-American First and Second Teams.  Milhous is as equally proud of her programs success in the classroom. The Villanova Field Hockey Team has achieved the Highest GPA of all 24 sports three of the past four years. Alongside coaching, Milhous has helped grow and expand the game by serving on the NCAA Field Hockey National Committee, NCAA Field Hockey Rules Subcommittee Chair, Mid Atlantic Region Chair, and the NFHCA All Region/All American Committee Mid Atlantic Chair. Milhous has coached 4 players who have been inducted into the Villanova Hall of Fame, 3 All-Americans, 24 Regional All-Americans and 4 Big East Players of the Year. A native of Wynnewood, PA, Milhous and her husband, Stowe, reside in Villanova, Pa. with their three children, Stowe Jr. and twins Tucker and Madison. Coaching Honors & Achievements: 1999, 2005 BIG EAST Coach of the Year 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2011, 2015, 2018, 2023 BIG EAST Tournament Appearances 1994 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Coach of the Year 2 ECAC Tournament Appearances. 

Karlie Kisha

Karlie Kisha rejoins the Villanova Wildcats as a full-time assistant coach after serving as a volunteer assistant for two seasons to focus on her field hockey career with the U.S. National Team. Previously, Kisha coached three seasons (2018-20) of Wildcats field hockey as a full-time assistant coach to Joanie Milhous. 

Kisha arrived at Villanova in 2018 after a four-year standout career at the University of Connecticut.  There she was a part of two national championship teams and four final four teams. During her senior season she was named a NFHCA Division I All-American and to the NCAA Division I Championship All-Tournament Team. Kisha is currently a member of the United States National Development Team and previously was a part of the United States National U21 and U19 Team.

In 2019, Kisha was named to the U.S. Women's National Team traveling roster for the U.S. Women's National Development Squad tour of The Netherlands. She continued on the Olympic Development Pathway through 2020.

Kisha was ultimately named to the U.S. Women's National Team in 2021 and played in the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she represented the United States on field hockey’s biggest stage. Kisha recently retired from the US Team.

Kisha graduated in May of 2018 from UConn with a degree in Chemistry.  She was a four-time member of the BIG EAST All-Academic Team and NFHCA Division I National Academic Team. 

Corey Mayer

Corey Mayer joined the Villanova coaching staff in 2021 and is in her fifth season on the staff. Since Mayer's arrival the Wildcats have improved significantly earning a BIG EAST Tournament berth in 2023. She came to Villanova after serving her alma mater James Madison as a volunteer assistant coach during the spring 2021 season. Mayer graduated from JMU in 2019 after earning first team All-CAA honors and being chosen for the NFHCA Division I Senior Game in 2018. She also has playing experience in the English Premier League and has coached at both the club level and in the collegiate ranks.
 
Mayer is a certified USA Field Hockey Level II coach who began her coaching career as a student assistant on the James Madison staff in 2019. She returned to the Dukes in the spring of 2021 and helped the team tally a 6-2 record while winning the CAA regular season title and advancing to the conference championship game. 
 
Mayer was selected to the USA Women’s National Development Team in January 2020 after previously training at the US Virginia High Performance site and being selected for the Young Women’s National Championship each year from 2016-19. In 2020 she played for Holcombe Hockey Club in the English Premier League.
 
Mayer graduated from James Madison in 2019 and earned her Master’s in Elementary Education there in 2020.
